I am selling my beloved Justin Alexander gown so that someone else can hopefully experience the joy I felt while wearing it. The design pairs a simple, "tank-top" like bodice (with flexible boning) with a tiered ballgown skirt. Each layer of the skirt is finished with horsehair trim so that it keeps its shape. The dress bustles for the dance floor! The covered buttons on the back add a elegant, polished note. To me, this dress was classic and modern with a twist. I felt so comfortable wearing it.
The dress was altered from a bridal size 6 to my measurements, see below. I added the silk ribbon belt, but it could be removed by a seamstress. Dry cleaned ($500 value). I also had one of the pieces of horsehair trim that got snagged on my wedding night repaired by a professional seamstress and it looks good as new (I am pointing to it after repair in the photo).
